'Time for Me' platform launched in Birmingham

PCG Care Solutions has launched the first eMarketplace which is specifically aimed at carers and meeting their ‘wellbeing’ needs.

The ‘Time for Me’ platform was commissioned by Forward Carers, a consortium of organisations working together as Birmingham Carers Hub.

One in eight people care for a loved one or dependent and there are more than 107,000 carers in Birmingham alone. Numbers are expected to grow resulting in people juggling care, work, family and their social lives. [More]

Tribute to Judith Snow

On the 12th and 13th June, PCG Care Solutions and My Life CIC were due to be hosting free workshops with the international inclusion pioneer and trailblazer, Judith Snow.

It is with great sadness that we learn of the tragic news that Judith Snow has sadly passed away. The news has come as a great shock to us all. Judith was an inspirational leader who made such an amazing difference to people’s lives all over the world and was a true pioneer. She will leave a tremendous gap and one that will be difficult to fill. [More]

New eCommerce win for PCG

PCG has won a contract with Buckinghamshire County Council to deliver an eCommerce platform.

The eCommerce solution will enable the council to market and sell its products and services online, will have two aspects:

Traded services’ aimed at schools in the county and beyond, including legal services, insurance, HR services, accounts, ICT, property and catering.
Citizen services’ covering things like the ordering of school dinners, duplicate marriage and birth certificates, archived documents and event bookings. [More]
